Anderson Acoustics provided acoustic design advice to contractors Zuin, for the Cuban-themed Socialista private members club developed by Guiseppe Cipriani in Mayfair, London.
As the club would be a live music venue on the ground floor, it was essential that the sound insulation was sufficient to prevent disturbance to nearby residents. Working with the architect, Monica Mauti of Atelier Maia, it was important to ensure adequate acoustic separation between the club and surrounding spaces.
As this was an existing building, there were lots of mechanical services to work around and with diverse and multi-lingual teams working with us on this project, it was handy that our consultant Luca was able to step in with translation services along the way!
Joe Baggaley, Principal Consultant at Anderson Acoustics commented “We do a lot of work with entertainment venues, restaurants and bars. We help clients manage their noise impact on neighbours, and apply acoustics to make their spaces more productive for staff and more enjoyable for customers.”
